Medicare Advantage (also known as Medicare Part C)

• Is an alternative to Original Medicare for your health and prescription drug coverage.  Medicare Part C includes Medicare part A and B and usually part D.  For treatment, you’ll need to see doctors that are in the plan’s network in most cases.

• Some plans in Medicare Advantage may have lower out-of-pocket costs than Original Medicare.

• With Medicare Advantage, plans may offer some extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t cover — like vision, gym, hearing, and dental services.
